Description:
|
This impressive building, with its domed central tower and pedimented facade, is a landmark on Fort Worth's architectural scene. Built in the late 19th century, the structure boasts traditional Beaux Arts detailing. Set high above the Trinity River, the stone edifice rests at the end of Main Street and shares a similar foundation design with Austin's Capitol Building. In 1983, following years of muddled remodelings, the courthouse was restored to its original and intended grandeur. |
