Description:

Sheltered in the park's 3500 acres are a wealth of native plants and wildlife, offering visitors a terrific opportunity to see the original environment that early settlers encountered. Nature trails and canoeing opportunities are available, and the interpretive center features exhibits about the terrain and inhabitants of the area. Kids are especially entranced by the grand vistas and the abundance of animal life found in the park. A host of scheduled events and tours can also be found. Located west of downtown, two miles west past the Lake Worth bridge, at the intersection of FM1886 and Hwy 199. |
