Description: SOUTHWEST FORT WORTH. Established in 1909 and located west of Downtown Fort Worth, this facility is the oldest continuously operating zoo in the state. It's home to more than 430 species of animals, and its wide array of exhibits includes World of Primates, Asian Falls, Raptor Canyon, and Thundering Plains. Texas Wild! is a hands-on exhibit that teaches about the state's various regions, and The Great Barrier Reef takes visitors to the mysterious waters of the Coral Sea. Strollers, motorized carts, and wagons are available for rent.

Mar - Oct  Mon-Fri 10am-5pm; Sat-Sun 10am-6pm 
Nov - Feb  Daily 10am-4pm
