Stockyards Station
(Shopping - Shopping Centers)
130 E Exchange Ave off N Main St, Fort Worth  76164 • 817-625-9715
Description: A former livestock market, this area has gained new life as a retail and entertainment district. These days, the original cattle, hog, and sheep pens have been converted into venues for more than 30 businesses. Restaurants, antique shops, gift boutiques, and entertainment destinations can all be found, and visitors can take walking tours of the area with maps supplied by the Tourist Information Center on Exchange Avenue. As an added bit of nostalgia, the Tarantula Train travels to the heart of the station with its 19th century steam locomotive and passenger coaches. Amid the rustic atmosphere, a live longhorn cattle drive takes place daily from 11:30am to 4pm.
Hours:
Mon-Thu 10am-6pm; Fri-Sat 10am-7pm; Sun Noon-6pm
