Many cities claim to have the biggest Saint Patty’s Day celebrations. Pittsburghers don’t care – they just know they have the best! The parade is famous for its longevity (since 1869) and for its tenacity (the parade persevered through the blizzard of 1993). And while Pittsburgh’s streets may not be paved in gold, on St. Patty’s Day green beer sure is easy to come by. |
