Four times a year the galleries of Downtown's Cultural District open their doors and invite everyone in for free dance, music, visual art and valuable interactions with local artists. Start your trek from any gallery and make your way through the streets. If you don't know which way to go, just follow the crowd. The Downtown Cultural District is a fourteen-square block area bordered by the Allegheny River on the north, Tenth Street on the east, Stanwix Street on the west, and Liberty Avenue on the south. The area comes alive for this event, so public transportation or biking is highly recommended due to traffic and limited parking. |
