This event has been going on for more than 30 years, and it has become one of the most popular. Locals welcome the fall each October with tons of food and drink (two big parking lots are transformed into beer gardens) along with shopping and entertainment. Description:
The Baltimore marathon is the headline event at this festival, but there's also 5-K, half-marathan, team relay, and kids fun run. The course of the marathon takes runners through charming areas of the city including the Inner Harbor, Federal Hill and Fells Point. Weekend activities include the Outback Steakhouse Celebration Village, Health and Fitness Expo and the Carbo-Load Dinner at Phillips Seaford or in Little Italy. |
