Description:
A holiday event, this parade is held the Friday after Thanskgiving and winds a mile through the downtown area. An extravaganza of light and spectacle, the parade includes beautiful floats, marching bands, horses, vintage cars, cartoon characters, and even the Jolly Old Elf himself. The event ends with the lighting of the city's Christmas tree in Sundance Square and is fun for the entire family. |

Description:
The oldest running rodeo in the country (first held in 1896), this exhibition has more than a century of entertainment under its belt. A downtown parade on the first Saturday morning kicks off the festivities, and there's also an animal petting zoo and a midway with carnival rides and games for all ages. Along with rodeo events, you can see livestock of all sorts, including cattle, sheep, horses, pigs, and rabbits competing for ribbons, and an exhibition hall is set up for vendors.
